The SE601 is a phase-angle control for electromagnetic bowl feeders and vibratory hoppers with integrated sensor monitoring.
SE601 Schmocker phase-angle control
Developed for demanding industrial feeding systems, the SE601 enables precise, reliable control of electromagnetic vibrators. It is particularly suitable for applications where fill levels or accumulation states are monitored by sensors.
The vibrator frequency is selectable between 3,000 or 6,000 vibrations per minute at 50 Hz or 3,600 or 7,200 vibrations per minute at 60 Hz. This allows the control to be optimally adapted to the respective vibrator characteristics. The feed rate is continuously adjustable, and the maximum output current can be individually limited. This reliably protects the magnetic coils from overload.
Integrated mains voltage compensation ensures stable feeding conditions even with fluctuating supply voltage. The adjustable soft start reduces mechanical stress during power-up and increases the system’s service life.
The SE601 features an integrated sensor supply for PNP, NPN, or NAMUR sensors. Switch-on and switch-off delays are separately adjustable, enabling precise process control. An additional 24 V AIR output allows for the control of a valve, for example for blow-off or release systems.
Via the interface, the SE601 can be cascaded with other SE6XX controls or integrated into higher-level PLC systems. Sensor and operating states are available for further processing.
