SE701 Schmocker phase-angle control

The SE701 is a digital phase-angle control with LC display for electromagnetic vibrators or single-phase capacitor motors with integrated sensor monitoring.

The SE701 is a controller for mains-powered feeding systems. It is used to control electromagnetic bowl and linear feeders as well as vibratory hoppers, or to switch single-phase capacitor motors. Back pressure or fill level is monitored via a connected sensor.

All parameters are conveniently set via a backlit LC display. Settings can be protected by access codes. Individual parameter sets can be saved and recalled for up to ten different feeders.

In vibrator mode, the vibration frequency can be selected between 3000 or 6000 vibrations/minute at 50 Hz and 3600 or 7200 vibrations/minute at 60 Hz. The feed rate is continuously controlled via the output voltage. Mains voltage fluctuations are effectively compensated.

The maximum permissible current draw (0.1–6 A) can be programmed and is electronically monitored. The vibrator soft start is adjustable (0.1–2.5 s), while switch-off is immediate.

The SE701 features an integrated 24 VDC sensor supply for PNP, NPN and NAMUR sensors. Switch-on and switch-off delays are adjustable separately (0–25.5 s) and operate with a quartz-stabilized time base. In addition, an AIR output is available, which is activated in sync with the feeder and switches off with a delay to compensate for overrun times.

Via the INTERFACE connections, multiple SE6XX/7XX controllers can be cascaded or connected to a PLC.
