MOBADRIVE FC 3082 – the start of a new generation of Frequency Controls

With the MOBADRIVE FC 3082, we are introducing the first Frequency Controls unit developed entirely under MOBADRIVE’s direction. It marks not only a new product, but the beginning of a new product generation.

With the FC 3082, we are creating the first Frequency Controls unit of a new generation developed entirely in-house. This development step is part of a broader transformation: In the future, our controllers will be marketed under the new name MOBADRIVE. In doing so, we build on the extensive expertise of our long-standing Schmocker employees and on the innovative strength of the internationally active Moser-Baer Group.

At the same time, we remain true to our core values. Reliability, durability, and a high degree of adaptability to individual customer requirements will continue to define our products in the future.

The first product developed entirely under MOBADRIVE’s direction is the FC 3082 – an innovative, multi-channel Frequency Controls unit that marks the beginning of our new product generation. What sets this product apart:

  • Multi-channel Frequency Controls: Three independently controllable conveying outputs enable control of multi-lane feeding systems with just one device. Each output can be precisely set within the range of 20–200 Hz (resolution 0.1 Hz).
  • High performance and safety: Up to 6 A is available per channel, with a total of a maximum of 12 A across all outputs. All channels are short-circuit proof and feature current monitoring and a zero-crossing stop – for maximum operational safety.
  • Integrated fill-level and jam monitoring: The system automatically detects jams and switches off conveyors when required – developed for efficient, low-disruption production processes. (Description on page 1.)
  • Can be used standalone or networked: Flexible in use: During commissioning, the FC 3082 operates autonomously as a master; in later operation, it can be integrated as a slave via an industrial bus interface.
  • Versatile connection options: With 8 digital inputs, 8 digital outputs, a connection for signal lamps, and the option to control external VFDs, the FC 3082 offers maximum flexibility – ideal for complex systems.
  • Web tool for intuitive operation: Configuration is conveniently performed via browser using the newly developed web interface. Settings can be saved, loaded, and transferred between projects – efficient, modern, and user-friendly. (Page 1).
  • Robust and suitable for industrial use: A compact aluminium housing with protection class IP54 protects the electronics even in demanding environments.
